Welcome to Invar

Streamline your operations from start to finish with Invar, the trusted intralogistics experts.

Every business is different. That’s why we take a unique four-stage consultative approach to building the best possible solution for our clients. We work with you every step of the way, from analysing the data and defining the scope of the project, to designing the optimum solution and delivering the ‘live’ system – even continuing our partnership with you into the future with on-going day-to-day support and maintenance of the operation.

Understanding your business and the challenges you face helps us to define what success should look like. That means looking beyond your short-term objectives, such as sales targets and planned promotional peaks, to the future strategic ambitions of the business. A fast growing business needs highly adaptable and scalable solutions capable of flexing to changing needs, and we have the technology and know-how to make it happen.

We help to determine where your pain points are and where automation should be deployed to deliver the best results, with a fast ROI. And of course, this comes down to gathering and analysing accurate data to generate tolerances on stock profiles, order volumes and throughput rates, along with a multitude of critical factors vital to scoping the optimum shape of your tailored solution.

Most investments in automation are aimed at increasing capacity to facilitate growth. That’s why designing a system for flexibility and scalability is so important. Using the right technology, a point solution can be expanded to grow with your business – that’s a benefit of advanced modular technology.

We have access to a vast array of technologies – from Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), zone-routing conveyors and flow-racking to cross-belt sorters, pick-to-light systems and automated packaging solutions, to name but a few. However, finding the most effective and appropriate combination for your defined set of objectives requires technical knowledge, creative thinking and access to advanced tools – all of which we have in-house.

As an independent, full-spectrum automated warehouse solutions provider, we are free to select the most appropriate technology for the task, and being a multifaceted organisation that brings together skilled individuals with competencies across warehouse management software, systems integration and controls, we take responsibility for your complete turnkey-key system from start to finish.

Throughout the design process we work closely with you to arrive at the detailed designs, where all aspects of the system have been considered, hardware availability scheduled and costs assessed.

Simulation software brings a concept to life. We have invested in leading-edge 3D simulation technology that enables us to select the most suitable materials handling hardware from a virtual catalogue and place appropriate technologies together as a concept system within the software. Then, by inputting your data set, we can apply routing logic to allow us to view your system’s performance to see in advance any potential bottlenecks or problems – giving you the confidence to bring your project into reality.

It’s our market leading ability to efficiently integrate advanced technologies and intelligent software that promises fast delivery of your solution and a trouble-free future. An intelligent system conceived by our expert design engineers and implemented by our highly skilled team of on-site engineers, can transform your business’ performance and give you the agility needed to secure operational resilience for years to come.

From the very start, one of our dedicated project managers will coordinate the build programme, ensuring that agreed milestones are reached on time and to budget. As we use industry leading project management software, SimPRO, you have complete visibility of costs, schedules and updates throughout the progress of the project. And when it comes to Health & Safety, all Invar solutions are UKCA/CE certified and externally audited.

We deliver on time, to budget.

What clients say
about us

Invar have provided unrivalled support to the site team; from design through to implementation, the creative and flexible approach has brought the vision to life, resulting in a robust and flexible solution for our customer

Since dealing with the Invar project team for the Stanton / Under Armour implementation I have been impressed with the level of service, knowledge and can-do attitude. These qualities have continued within the residency solution whereby the site is supported in a number of key measures such as a detailed PPM schedule, training staff on equipment, stores / spares management and building support. The weekly review meetings with the team ensure everything is effectively managed within agreed time frames.

Facilities Manager at Ceva.

In the last 18 months I have seen Invar grow from strength to strength, I was part of the initial process where we recruited Greenstone to support with the servicing and repairs of our Conveyer and box machines, they have grown in that time from suppling engineers to helping us optimise the equipment, expand the area and incorporate changes to layout and process. With the team now fully established at the SDC, I feel we are is such a better situation, with limited downtime, planned preventative maintenance and increased productivity. The Invar team have done a great job, and I am extremely happy with the service that they have provided
